Cuttlebone Variscite

The stone in the ring is a variscite from Nevada. This is set in a sterling silver bezel on a cuttlebone cast ring with copper accents. 

Making this style of band is such a fun and unique process. I carve a relief in the cuttlebone in the shape I want, pour molten silver, and I'm left with a ring band with this one of a kind texture. Using this process, each ring is 100% unique.
